AUTHOR’S BIO:

Allison, like many authors, read a book she didn’t like. Despite occasional digs from her children, she wrote a romance. Too Late To Scream, a traditional Gothic romance is her twelfth book.

A retired high school teacher, she’s taught class in writing fiction and spoken at conferences throughout the country.

She and her husband, an engineer, moved south to the land of hurricanes and sunshine. When she isn’t watching the weather, she writes, creating heroes and heroines, then looking for ways to make their lives miserable.

Currently, she’s outlining another Gothic, and working on a sequel to Simon’s Brides.

REVIEWS/QUOTES:

Quote one! “The story is truly wonderful, an intricately woven tale of mystery with many exciting and unexpected twists.” --From Debra Webb, author of Harlequin Americans and the Harlequin Intrigue series of the Colby Agency.

Quote two! “A beautiful heroine too spunky to leave the scary passage-ridden mansion she inherits, suspects the tall, dark and mysterious hero of wanting her dead. THE BRIDES OF OWL’S HEAD by Allison Knight contains all of the expected elements of the traditional Gothic, yet it is quite unique. This one will keep you guessing until the very end.” -- From Lyn Stone, author of the SCOT,, a Harlequin Historical Romance.

The Brides of Owl's Head is an enthralling find for lovers of classic historical gothic romance. The extremely resourceful and determined heroine bounces back from one-two punches like the Energizer Bunny, and several potential villains/heroes are plausibly disguised in an intricate plot full of carrots for the reader and heroine alike. Author Allison Knight peppers this well written story with many traditional gothic elements that gothic romance fans will relish, leading them to clamor for more from this talented author. --Kristi Lyn Glass, Publisher, Gothic Journal
