After thirty years of writing, Linda Suzane discovered what she was destined to write about when a character stepped out of a short story and demanded that she tell the tale of how he was first bitten by a vampire. What happened afterward was a magical experience that every writer hopes to have, where they find the characters taking over the story, when the story almost writes itself. 200,000 words, four books later, Linda had the first draft of the Darkhour Vampires. Seeing the first book in the series, Captivity, in print is just the beginning. Linda is already hard at work on the second book in the series, Freedom.
