REVIEWS/QUOTES:
Bright Star Safari is a delightful novel. The writing is most professional, and the descriptions put me right there in beautiful South Africa. I became so involved with the characters I feel I know them personally. The plot was so compelling I couldn’t put the book down. I look forward to the next novel by this talented author. -- Mary Kate Brogan
Bright Star Safari: Amanda Baker is surprised to learn she has been remembered in her Aunt Emily’s will. She is shocked, however, to learn that she is now one-third owner of her aunt’s Kwezi Ranch and Lodge located in the South African bushveld. Amanda is immediately pressed from both sides by the other two partners to sell her shares. Uncertain of her desire to sell, and suspicious of their eagerness to buy her out, she travels to Kwezi Lodge to see the eco-tourism operation first hand.
She is greeted by the co-owners: the ruggedly handsome ranch manager, Greg Anderson, and her cousin, Basil, hired by Aunt Emily to keep the books. As her attraction to Greg grows, she begins to consider that her aunt’s death may have been no accident. The question--who can she trust?
Olivia Winter has woven a splendid tale of gripping suspense and heart-warming romance, set in the South African bush. Her characters are skillfully drawn, and her story beckons the reader to keep turning the pages. This book is guaranteed not to disappoint. -- Linda Rettstatt
