Manufacturer Description

When Lydia Murley can't sleep and leaves her Chicago hotel room in search of an aspirin, she finds instead a young man bleeding to death in an elevator. Due to her quick thinking, the lad survives, but upon waking from a coma he has no idea who he might be. Detectives Eugene Harlow and Jake Martini, check leads and the youth is identified as Dominick Portelli, but the day they believe part of their job is over, fate hands them a surprise. Meet Jeannine D. Van Eperen

Jeannine Van Eperen was born in Beloit, Wisconsin and lived in Chicago, Illinois, then moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico. She calls New Mexico home, though she's lived many other places. She and her husband, Lou, love travel, and spend as much time as possible doing so.

Jeannine is the former Director of Publicity for the University of Albuquerque. She attended the University of New Mexico, the University of Albuquerque and Western States University College of Law.

Besides writing and travel, she loves to read and needlework, making many sweaters of her own design. She is a licensed pilot.

She has one son, Daniel McGrew, and one stepson, Ray, and grandchildren.
