Jeannine Van Eperen has lived most of her life in New Mexico, and her love of New Mexico inspired her to write DAUGHTER OF SPAIN. She also enjoys visiting other places and she and husband, Lou have traveled to twenty-eight countries and all fifty of the United States. She attended the University of New Mexico, College of St. Joseph on the Rio Grande and Western States University College of Law. Jeannine was the Director of Publicity for the University of Albuquerque. She loves downhill skiing, used to pilot her own plane, and lists reading and needlework as favorite pastimes. She has a son, Daniel McGrew, and a stepson, Ray, and grandchildren.
