Meet Mary Brockway

Mary Brockway knows  the southern family in this book for she was born in Conway,Arkansas, but moved at age seven to Washington State. She lives with her husband, Bill, with her four sons and families living nearby. Her daughter lives in Seward, Alaska.

Mary’s favorite books are historical. She did extensive research about the Japanese American internment in World War II. Several of the families who were sent to Camp Minidoka provided personal experiences. Mary is moderator of two writing groups in her area.
