Zelda has to care for her bedridden stepmother and her two children. She doesn’t know her stepmother has made a secret deal that will force Zelda to marry an unscrupulous man. Wiley Hendrix shows up and finds Zelda trying to save a failing ranch with no help. He decides to help her save the place as well as saving herself.
