Susan Shaw has done it again. She has gotten Kate in and out of some interesting situations while she finds the source of some murderous occurrences. The action is fast-paced. I found Kate's emotional interaction with the other characters (both human and animal) charming and authentic. I can hardly wait to see what new adventures Kate gets involved in.
